Telecom Chairman

Well, I've just been named Chairman of the Telecommunication's committee in Senate. Hopefully I can make some improvements to the website and also make it more interactive. Some things I would like to do is set it up so that people can look at the minutes from the previous meeting online and also a possible message board. I'll figure it out, well football time! BBL....

Semester talk so far

All I have to say is wow, this semester has been busy. Seven classes does that to you. I'm actually listening to my professor talking about Blogs as I write my WAY overdue post.

Man City are playing real well, Sven has got the team playing real well and Schmeichel is playing brilliantly behind the pipes. Micah Richards and Richard Dunne are the best defensive pairing in the league right now.

Some cool links for you:

I'm a slacker

I've been slacking with the posts but that is mainly because there has not been anything going on...I'm mostly playing WoW and taking care of my nephew when he is out of school...No links and I think the posts over the summer will be sporadic like this...I cant help it, my life is pretty boring :)

Next update will probably be heavy with football news if Man City ever find themselves an owner and a manager...

In NC for Memorial Day Weekend

Hello people! Here I am once again. Just updating here since I have a chance to and I'm here. I am currently on my laptop in Statesville, NC. I had a good semester. 2 As 2 Bs and a C+ which I should've gotten a B but I totally blew my final....Oh well....

Not much more to say, so gonna sign off, later!

Thoughts on this past school year

This is the end of maybe one of the greatest years of my life. I've met a ton of people, have become a bit of a student leader (as amazing as that sounds, since I'm the quintessential follower), and have had some amazing classes taught by some awesome teachers.

Now it has not all been easy. Professor Ferrell's class on African-American history was one of the most challenging courses I've ever taken, and that is saying a lot since I've taken a ton of courses. Intermediate Macro has convinced me that I'm a better Micro person than Macro person. Math 115 has taught me that I really, really hate difference equations.

All in all, I would like to thank my professors, friends, fellow Senators, Anime Club members, and most of all my Mom and Dad. I am so blessed to have such loving and hard-working parents. Without their help and their love, I would be nothing.

Thoughts 4/30

So it is exam time. I finished my first exam today in which I was not even sweating since I knew that unless I got a 62/150 or lower, I was receiving a B for the course and I had no motivation to do better than that since my chances of getting an A even with a perfect score were nil. So I gave the amount of effort necessary in order to achieve the desired final grade which was a B. Right now I'm about to start on my Macro Take Home final here in Monroe 107, btw not looking forward to this, I've seen the questions and they seem to be a bit daunting. Well the last one and parts of the 1st and 2nd one that is. A 6 page limit including graphs definitely weighs into my calculus as well.

Today's link of the day is pretty good, it is a spoof on Sports Center. Oh well GL to anyone reading this and doing exams.

Thoughts 4/27

Well, all assignments other than the finals are done and dusted. This has been by far my most challenging semester yet. Well my mind is pretty burnt out since I did a memory dump after finishing the forecasting paper last night. So with nothing more to say, I will bid all zero of you a fond farewell until I type again.

Thoughts 4/26

Guten Tag! Wie geht's dir? Ok, that is enough of German. Hello everyone (no one, but I digress once again), Today has been an eventful day so far. I went to the Devil-Goat Day, an annual carnival like event that has been put on here at UMW since the 1920s. I met Amber there and we had a very good time. I saw her ride the mechanical bull and she actually hung on for a decent amount of time (longer than the both of us thought she would hang on). Then I challenged her to Pugil sticks (The American Gladiator event thing), I won 2 out of 3 but she did knock me down once, which is pretty amazing since I am like three times her size.

Oh well, enough of me and my procrastinating ways (I should be finishing my forecasting paper). I only have 1 link again, but yet again, it is a good one. It is an old Anti-Nazi propaganda cartoon from Walt Disney called Education for Death.

Enjoy the rest of your day and hopefully Friday for me will be a breeze.

Thoughts 4/24

Greetings blog readers (of which there is only me, but I digress). So we are in the homestretch. This is my last real day of work in Math 115 but GD, she threw everything on us at once. Quiz + oral presentation + Summary paper makes Tommy go something something.....Go crazy! Don't mind if I do. Hehe, oh well, All that crap is basically done so I'm not hating (too much).

My brother is in town. I told him he chose the absolute wrong week to visit as I'm going to be running around like the proverbial chicken with the head cut off. I think he was coming up more to bring back some of his movie collection since he has reupped with the Navy for 2 more years and is not getting out in August like he originally planned.

Only one link today but it is a good one, the stand up economist, yes we economists can be funny!

Random Thoughts for 4/20

Hey everyone! I told you I'm giving this blog thing another shot and here I am! So tonight, I feel incredibly bored and a little bit lonely. I don't know why, it is rare I feel this way, but it does happen. Not much more to say about that so let us move on.

Tomorrow is the SHH walkathon. It should be an awesome event with music, massage artists, and lots of people and friends. This is for an awesome cause and I hope that Senate makes enough money so we can get a house in Senate's name. The man who is responsible for this event the great Shin Fujiyama. The man pours his heart and soul into this operation and I wish I had his kind of drive. He told me on Wednesday that the speech he gave to JADE was his 80th different speech which in my mind is outstanding. Well, I just hope they make a TON of money tomorrow and also hope I can win that Entertainment set that includes the Wii!!

Charlie the unicorn is awesome!!!

These are videos from James, the Angry Nintendo Nerd, he is awesome since he says things about crappy games that we've wanted to say but just either did not have the heart or the voice!

See ya next time I write!

It's been a while

Hey, I'm such a slacker, I should blog more often but I did it at first and just kind of gave up on it, but I'm willing to give myself a second shot and thus here it is. Now daily blogs will probably not be here, but I'm going to try to blog on something every few days or so, especially with the craziness that is my life. So more to come and as Papa Stage would say, "Stay Tuned!"
