I had my first Theater test yesterday and needless to say it was a sobering experience. I may be changing that class to pass/fail. We'll see but I am not confident of how I did.
Today, if all goes well we are going to show the application to the entire class. We did an awesome job on it and I am proud to have been part of that experience.
Well not much for today but here is a link to a funny as hell website for football fans. Bang's cartoons are legendary.

Thoughts on 9/24
This is why I said Almost daily thoughts. I had a blast last night at the Econ social. The professors are really cool and the other Econ majors and people in general were awesome.
As for my Man City boys, the blues drop another one (3rd time this week), this time to the boys from the Tyneside Newcastle 1-0. One thing was we got the honor of allowing Michael Owen's first goal back in the premiership (cue golf clap). Not good times for the Eastlands outfit atm.
Today I also participated in the annual Madden Challenge in Washington, DC and got bounced like a ball in the first round. One turnover in that tourney is bad but 3 is killer. Final score 21-14. Oh well, you know I'll play again next year.
Now for my quote of the day:
"How to store your baby walker: First, remove baby." - Anonymous Manufacturer
See ya guys tomorrow or whenever I right an entry again (which may be tonight).

Thoughts for 9/22
Hello all you people lining up to read this fine little piece of my world. Today was an intesresting blob. We had a heated discussion in Econ 324 as they presented the Mission Statement to everyone. I personally like the one the Mission Statement chose. I think it is a strong statement and will attract the kind of organizations we were looking for.
Tomorrow I have the Economics Club social. It should be a cool event and I look forward to meeting all of the other Econ majors at the school and to mingle and have a good time.
I've heard from some of the people that have attended these in the past that they can be a little wild. Well, you know about us Economists, we like to maximize our happiness and be efficient about it. :)
Well I figure I will end this with a cool quote so here it is:
There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.
Richard Feynman US educator & physicist (1918 - 1988)
See ya to all zero of you guys reading this!

Well, I had a good day. We did the finishing touches on the application for the grant we are creating in ECON 324. I like what we did with it but I am having doubt about the mission statement. IMO it seems too broad. Well, I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
In other news, My Blues got beat by Doncaster of League one and got bounced out of the Carling Cup. Now I know this is a 2nd tier cup but GD, my boys should not be losing to a team in League 1. Maybe reality is starting to set in at CoMS. Hopefully, Stuart Pearce gets those boys back on track for this weekend.
Finally, I had my first Senate meeting and I think it is going to be a rewarding experience. Hopefully, it will help with the leadership factors that I do sorely lack (I've always been a bit of a follower.) Well I hear my bed calling so I am calling it a night, Later all none of ya that are actually reading this :)
